Every family has stories
worth preserving.
KinWise sends your whole family a thoughtful question once or twice a week. Grandma replies by text. Dad records a voice memo. Your sister shoots a video. Your teenager types a quick answer on the app. Every response is preserved in a searchable family archive.
Unlimited family members, one flat price. Older members just reply to a text — no app needed.

Your family's best stories
are scattered across generations
Dad has stories he's never thought to share. Your teenager sees the world differently than you do. Grandma remembers things nobody else knows. But sitting everyone down with a camera? That never happens.
KinWise does the hard part: we send the right question, at the right time, in the way each person is most comfortable answering. Grandma gets a text. Your kids get a push notification. Everyone contributes in their own way.
Four steps to a family archive
that lasts generations
You sign up as the Family Historian
Create your family archive in 60 seconds. Then invite everyone — parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins. They join free.
We send thoughtful questions
Once or twice a week, each family member gets a question by text or app notification. "What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?" "What’s a tradition you hope your family keeps?" "What does home mean to you?"
They respond however they’re comfortable
Grandma replies to the text. Dad records a voice memo. Your sister shoots a quick video. Everyone contributes in their own way.
Your family archive grows
Every response is transcribed, searchable, and preserved forever. Search "what did grandpa say about fishing?" and find the exact story.
Everyone answers in their own way
Some people write. Some talk. Some show. KinWise captures it all.

Everyone participates —
even the ones who aren't “tech people”
Younger family members use the app. But grandpa? He's not downloading anything — and he doesn't have to. KinWise sends him the question as a regular text message. He replies. His story appears in the family feed right next to your sister's video and your dad's voice memo.
Stories families are preserving
“My 14-year-old wrote the most thoughtful answer about what makes her feel safe. My mom recorded a voice memo about immigrating here. Same question, totally different answers. That’s what makes this special.”

“I gave this to my parents for their anniversary. Now the whole family is in it — my dad records voice memos, my brother sends videos, even my kids type little answers. It’s become our family’s thing.”

“My mom is 82 and will never download an app. But she replies to every text question. Meanwhile my sister sends videos and I type mine out. Everyone contributes however they’re comfortable.”

Questions
Does grandma need to download an app?
No. Older family members receive questions as a regular text message (SMS) and reply the same way. No app, no login, no password. Their replies appear in your family archive automatically.
How many family members can join?
Unlimited. One flat price covers your whole family — grandparents, parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles. They all join free. Only the Family Historian (the person who manages the archive) pays.
What kinds of questions do you send?
We have a library of 240+ questions across 25 themes: childhood memories, family traditions, life lessons, adventures, faith, career, love stories, and more. They’re designed to draw out real stories, not one-word answers. You can also add your own questions.
What if someone doesn’t want to answer a question?
They just skip it. No pressure. A new question comes next time. People tend to answer the ones that resonate and skip the ones that don’t — which means every response you get is genuine.
What happens if I cancel?
Your stories are yours. You can download your entire archive (every text, every voice memo, every video) as a ZIP file at any time. We’ll never hold your family’s stories hostage.
Is this like StoryWorth?
Similar idea, different approach. StoryWorth is one-person-at-a-time and text-only. KinWise is the whole family participating together — with text, voice, video, and photo. And we support SMS for older family members who won’t use an app. See how we compare on our pricing page.
